As an Energy Consultant, your role is to continue to help the business grow and acquire and develop a portfolio of business customers through outbound B2B selling. You will be responsible for the full sales process, from contacting prospective customers, identifying their energy requirements through to securing contracts. You will provide excellent service to your customers and develop a pipeline of customers to manage future renewals.
Using all your skills you will be making outbound telesales calls to businesses throughout the UK, approximately 120 dials a day – we hope you love talking. You need to use your powers to identify the key decision makers for the business and develop a strong business relationship. We need information gatherers to find and understand the businesses energy requirements, their current supplier and energy contract end dates. Our team members are friendly, helpful and never pushy – we don’t like that sort of approach here. You will need to display our core values at all time: Proud, Caring & trustworthy.
You will be required to manage all new and current prospects within our CRM database to the point a prospect needs a quotation. This is where you will build the relationship with our existing Energy Consultants, seamlessly transferring the prospect over for quotation.
Naturally with a role like this there is administration involved and this is where your excellent time keeping and accuracy skills will come into play.
Skills & experience
We need someone who has at least 6 months success in a targeted environment, ideally in an outbound B2B environment. You will need to have good attention to detail, excellent time management skills and a bit of a whizz with IT.
We need someone with a tenacious ‘can do’ attitude always looking for solutions and creative way to find business. You would need to be driven in a target environment but remain calm under pressure. Most of all we love a team player who is energetic, passionate and driven. You will need an excellent telephone manner, good organisation skills and be able to deliver results accurately at pace with minimal supervision.

The nitty gritty
Based: Head Office in Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.45 – 5pm
Salary: £17,000 – £18,000 per annum depending on experience
